Is there a way to run cable and wire through existing cinderblock? If the blocks have not been grouted (filled) use an electrical fish tape. Get a flexible tip and attach it o the tape. Drill a hole into the block cavity on an upward angle (45 degrees or so) and work the fish tape up to the attic.
